Director general of Russian state nuclear corporation Rosatom Alexey Likhachev met with Bangladesh prime minister Tarique Rahman on Tuesday.

The meeting was held at the prime minister’s office in the Secretariat at about 10:00am, said a PMO release.

Foreign minister Khalilur Rahman, science and technology and posts, telecommunications and information technology minister Fakir Mahabub Anam Swapan, and prime minister’s adviser on the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Rehan Asif Asad were present at the meeting.

Russian ambassador to Bangladesh Alexander G Khozin was also present at the programme, among others.
