The Jatiya Party led by Ghulam Muhammad Quader on Friday announced its candidates for 243 seats for the next Jatiya Sangsad election slated for February 12, 2026.

Secretary general of the party Shamim Haider Patwary at a press conference in Dhaka announced the names and constituencies of the candidates for the general election.

Announcing the party candidatures, Shamim Haider Patwary said that their party would withdraw the candidates and not participate in the elections if level playing field was not ensured for every political party and law and order situations were not improved.

Presidium members of the party Mir Abdus Asud, SM Abdul Mannan, Mizanur Rahman, Saifuddin Ahmed Milon, Rejaul Islam Bhuiyan and Sherifa Quader, among others, were present at the press conference.
