The results of this year’s SSC and equivalent examinations will be published on July 20, Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon said today.
He made the announcement at a press conference in the conference room of the Secondary and Higher Education Division at the Secretariat.
“We have given instructions that the SSC results be released on July 20. We have also announced the routine and everything related to next year’s SSC examinations,” he said.
The results of SSC and equivalent examinations are usually published within 60 days of the end of the written tests. The minister’s announcement came in line with that practice.
This year’s SSC and equivalent examinations began on April 21. The written exams under the general education boards ended on May 20, while the written tests of Dakhil and SSC vocational examinations ended on May 24.
A total of 18,57,344 students filled out forms to sit for the SSC and equivalent examinations this year. Of them, 14,18,398 registered for the SSC examinations, 3,04,286 for Dakhil, and 1,34,660 for SSC and Dakhil vocational examinations.
