At least 10 people have suffered burn injuries in a fire at a salt factory in Boalkhali upazila of Chattogram District.

The fire broke out on Thursday at the Confidence Salt Factory in the West Gomdandi area, reports bdnews24.com.

Alauddin Talukdar, sub-inspector (SI) of the hospital police outpost, said that the 10 injured individuals have been admitted to Chattogram Medical College Hospital.

He said that the 10 people were brought to the hospital with burn injuries around 11:00 am, adding that the condition of five to six of them is critical.
