Disney+ has released a new trailer for the restored edition of "The Beatles Anthology", the landmark documentary series tracing the rise of the Fab Four. The refreshed nine-part version will begin streaming on 26 November.

The first three episodes will drop on the debut date, followed by episodes 4–6 on 27 November and episodes 7–9 on 28 November. The original 1995 series, broadcast in the US and UK before its home-video release, has been newly restored and expanded. Disney+ has added an all-new ninth instalment featuring previously unreleased footage of Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr working on the 1990s Anthology project.

The expanded series revisits John Lennon, McCartney, Starr and Harrison as they recount the band's meteoric eight-year ascent to global superstardom. The restoration includes an enhanced sound mix overseen by Apple Corps in collaboration with Peter Jackson's Park Road Post production team in Wellington.

The trailer opens with Lennon recalling how The Beatles began: "I met Paul and said, 'Do you want to join me band?' … Then George joined. Then Ringo joined." Viewers are then taken through defining moments in the band's history, from their 1964 Ed Sullivan Show breakthrough to their era-defining stadium performance at Shea Stadium in 1965 — a show Starr admits he barely remembers. "I thought we only played there once. How was it?" he remarks.

The bonus ninth episode highlights the surviving members' 1995 reunion to craft "Free as a Bird", the first "new" Beatles track since the band's 1970 split. The wider Anthology project originally included a four-volume album collection — which featured another new track, "Real Love" — and a coffee-table book published in 2000.

"Nothing will ever break the love we have for each other," Lennon says in archival audio. "The Beatles exist without us," Harrison adds.
