Nasir Uddin Khan — best known for his breakout role in the web series "Myself Allen Swapan" — has been signed for a significant part in Shakib Khan's upcoming Eid-release, "Prince", its producer Shirin Sultana confirmed. The casting marks the first time Nasir Uddin will share screen space with Shakib; he previously appeared in a television commercial alongside the superstar.

Directed by Abu Hayat Mahmud and produced under the Creative Land Films banner, "Prince" is being positioned as a full-blooded action picture. Mahmud says the production is conceived on a large canvas and has required extended preparations to ensure the shoot proceeds exactly as planned. Principal photography is due to begin on December 15. The film's first look — the lead's "look" and the poster — will be revealed on the opening day of shooting.

Alongside Shakib Khan, the film will feature Tasnia Farin and Kolkata actress Jyotirmoyee Kundu; a further leading performer has been cast, but the name has not yet been released. The crew includes noted cinematographer Amit Roy (credited for work in Bollywood), whose involvement signals the production's technical ambition.

Rumours circulated early that "Prince" was a biopic of the 1990s Dhaka underworld figure Kala Jahangir; Mahmud dismissed those suggestions, stressing the film is not based on any single real-life individual. "That's simply gossip," he said, adding that the project is wholly fictional.

With a big-screen action template, a high-profile lead, and fresh supporting faces from both Bangladesh and Kolkata, "Prince" is shaping up as one of this year's most-watched local productions. The team says they will begin releasing promotional material as the cameras roll, aiming to give audiences a clear sense of the film's scope and tone.
