Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is scheduled to hold a meeting with Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman and state ministers of various ministries at the Secretariat on Sunday morning.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, he will arrive at the Secretariat at 10am and begin meetings at 10:30am. He is also scheduled to meet the Saudi Arabian ambassador at 11am.

Sunday marks his fourth working day in office since taking oath on February 17 as the country’s 17th prime minister.

On February 18, he paid tribute to the Liberation War martyrs at the National Martyrs' Memorial in Savar and later visited the graves of former president Ziaur Rahman and former prime minister Khaleda Zia in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar.

He also worked at the Secretariat on February 19. Officials said the prime minister has decided to work on Saturdays, including government holidays, to help restore momentum in administrative activities.
