Jatiya Party Chairman GM Quader has extended his sincere congratulations to BNP and its Chairman Tarique Rahman, for securing an absolute majority.

In a statement, Quader expressed hope that Tarique would utilise his intellect, wisdom, and past political experience to play a positive role in ensuring peace, stability, the continuity of democracy, and sustainable development in Bangladesh.

Quader further said he believed that Tarique Rahman will soon assume the heavy responsibility of running the state and strengthen national unity.

He also expressed confidence that through tolerance, responsibility and political prudence, Tarique would be able to effectively help the country overcome its existing crises, uncertainties and divisions.
