Buses block the Dhaka-Barishal highway yesterday afternoon during a strike enforced by workers of the Nathullabad Central Bus Terminal, demanding a ban on three‑wheelers after a bus driver and his helper were allegedly assaulted by three-wheeler drivers. As a result, services on 32 local and long‑distance routes remained suspended for several hours, leaving passengers in distress. An oxygen-carrying lorry is seen among the stuck vehicles.
