আমি মূসা ও হারূনকে (সত্য-মিথ্যার) মানদন্ড, আলো ও বাণী দিয়েছিলাম মুত্তাকীদের জন্য।
আমি ইতোপূর্বে ইবরাহীমকে সঠিক পথে চলার জ্ঞান দান করেছিলাম আর তার সম্পর্কে আমি খুব ভালভাবে জানতাম।
আমি ইবরাহীমকে দান করেছিলাম ইসহাক, আর অতিরিক্ত হিসেবে (পৌত্র) ইয়া‘কুব, (তাদের) প্রত্যেককেই আমি করেছিলাম সৎকর্মশীল।
আর তাদেরকে বানিয়েছিলাম নেতা, তারা আমার নির্দেশে মানুষকে সঠিক পথ দেখাত। তাদের প্রতি ওয়াহী করেছিলাম সৎ কাজ করার জন্য, নিয়মিত নামায প্রতিষ্ঠা করার ও যাকাত প্রদানের জন্য, তারা আমারই ‘ইবাদাত করত।
আর আমি লূতকেও দিয়েছিলাম বিচারশক্তি ও জ্ঞান। আমি তাকে উদ্ধার করেছিলাম সেই জনবসতি থেকে যা অশ্লীল কাজে লিপ্ত ছিল, তারা ছিল এক খারাপ পাপাচারী জাতি।
আমি তাকে আমার রাহমাতের অন্তর্ভুক্ত করেছিলাম, সে ছিল সৎ কর্মশীলদের একজন।

English
And We had already given Moses and Aaron the criterion and a light and a reminder for the righteous
And We had certainly given Abraham his sound judgement before, and We were of him well-Knowing
And We gave him Isaac and Jacob in addition, and all [of them] We made righteous.
And We made them leaders guiding by Our command. And We inspired to them the doing of good deeds, establishment of prayer, and giving of zakah; and they were worshippers of Us.
And to Lot We gave judgement and knowledge, and We saved him from the city that was committing wicked deeds. Indeed, they were a people of evil, defiantly disobedient.
And We admitted him into Our mercy. Indeed, he was of the righteous.
