Two more confirmed measles deaths have been reported in 24 hours (till 8:00am today), taking up the number of total confirmed deaths to 34.

The deaths were reported from Dhaka division, Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said.

Besides, the directorate recorded six more suspected deaths in the same period, taking the total number of suspected deaths to 172. Of the deaths, two each were reported from Dhaka and Sylhet divisions, and one each from Rajshahi and Chattogram divisions.

During this time, 192 confirmed cases have been reported, taking the number of confirmed cases to 3,065.

Besides, DGHS recorded 1,191 suspected cases in 24 hours, taking the number of suspected cases to 20,352.
