Nearly a decade after his acting debut in the historical K-drama “Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth”, BTS member Kim Taehyung, popularly known as V, is set to return to acting with the short film “That Night, Our Decaf”, alongside Park Ji-min.
The short film has been produced as part of a promotional campaign for the Korean coffee brand Compose Coffee. It follows a soft romantic storyline between two former high school classmates who unexpectedly reunite years later outside a café late at night. The brand released a brief teaser of the project on Wednesday.
According to Compose Coffee, the film will premiere on April 10 across its official social media platforms. Sharing the teaser on Instagram, the brand wrote, “‘That Night, Our Decaf’ Coming Soon: April 10, 2026. A story that begins that night, meant just for us. Releasing exclusively on Compose Coffee.”
Meanwhile, on the music front, V and his fellow BTS members—RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, and Jungkook—are currently enjoying massive global success with their latest album “Arirang”.
Released on March 20, “Arirang” marks the group’s return after a four-year hiatus. In its debut week, BTS made history by becoming the first act to occupy all Top 10 spots on the Billboard Global Excl. US chart, while also securing nine positions on the Billboard 200 with tracks from the album.
Songs such as “Swim”, “Body to Body”, “Hooligan”, “Fya”, and “Normal” have achieved notable success across multiple Billboard charts. The group has also released music videos for “2.0” and “Hooligan”, further amplifying the album’s global reach.
BTS is set to kick off the Arirang World Tour on April 9 in Goyang, South Korea. The tour will span 82 concerts across 34 cities in Asia, North America, Europe, and Latin America through 2026 and 2027. Tickets for shows in South Korea, North America, and Europe sold out within hours of release.
