Bangladesh interim government information and broadcasting adviser Md Mahfuj Alam on Tuesday said that the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation’s business automation service will reduce syndicate and increase accountability.
The remarks were made at an inauguration ceremony of the BFDC’s business automation service, with the opening of Jahir Raihan Archive, repairing of sound recording studio and fountain at BFDC in the capital.
He also said that the film industry needs an eco-system from production to distribution, and filmmakers should think of diverse contents to attract audience in different platforms.
The BFDC Managing Director Masuma Rahman Tani said that the BFDC have limited resources, but they try to improve its facilities for young filmmakers of the country aiming to promote Bangladeshi films in the worldwide film arena.
