Ziaul Faruq Apurba, who has won the hearts of millions through his performances on screen, has now impressed Bangladeshi audiences in New York with his musical talent.

Driven by his passion for music, Apurba held a solo concert titled “Apurba Live Musical Night” at the Jamaica Performing Arts Center on the evening of August 8 (local time). More than 400 attendees enjoyed the two-hour performance, which featured the artiste performing live on stage.

According to organisers, tickets for the concert were priced at US $100 and US $300—equivalent to approximately Tk 12,300 and Tk 37,000 respectively.The event was a houseful, with many fans reportedly unable to secure tickets due to overwhelming demand.

Overwhelmed by the love and appreciation he received from the audience, Apurba took to Instagram on Sunday to express his gratitude.

"New York, you have won my heart! Last night felt like a dream come true," he wrote.

The actor said the opportunity to stand on stage and experience the warmth, enthusiasm and affection of the Bangladeshi diaspora was a moment he would cherish forever. He also thanked the audience, organisers and everyone involved in making his first solo musical concert a memorable success.
