A fire broke out in a 10-storey building in Dhaka’s Pallabi late Tuesday night.
On information of a fire at 11:12pm, two fire engines went to the spot and are trying to douse the blaze, said duty officer Shahjahan Islam of the control room at the Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters.
The fire broke out on the third floor of the multistoried building in Mirpur 11.5.
The fire could not be contained till the filing of the report at 12:20am.
No casualties were reported. The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
