TikTok has published a list of the most searched words on its platform in Bangladesh in 2025. The company said the list reflects growing use of TikTok as a discovery tool, with people using it for recommendations, context and everyday guidance from creators on the platform.
TikTok said searches linked to several popular tags rose over the past year in Bangladesh, including #TravelTok (up 63%), #FoodTok (up 40%), #BookTok (up 41%) and #LearnOnTikTok (up 66%), which it described as the biggest increase.
In travel-related searches, TikTok said users looked up destinations and venues including Dubai, Mymensingh, Jamuna Future Park, Disneyland and Fatikchhari Mini Kashmir. In show-business searches, TikTok listed Yash Rohan, Hania Amir, Tangia Zaman Methila, Tasnia Farin and Sabnam Faria among the most searched celebrities. For musicians, it named Riad Ahsan, Talwinder, Lalon Band, Pritom Hasan, and Taylor Swift.

The platform also identified Nusrat Jahan Ontora, Rothey Ahamed, Iftekhar Rafsan, Salman Muqtadir and Omor Always On Fire as the most searched TikTok creators. Among sportspersons, it listed Lamine Yamal, Zayyan Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman, Lionel Messi, and Luis Suarez.
It also highlighted "most searched moments" such as Ballon d'Or 2025, Miss Universe Bangladesh, Blood Moon, Police New Dress and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

TikTok's "most searched song/soundtrack" list included "Shonar Tori" by Tafsir Sharon, "Chand Mama (From 'BORBAAD')" by Pritom Hasan & Dola Rahman, "Gulbahar" by Ishaan & Shuvendu Das Shuvo, "Jhol" by Maanu & Annural Khalid, and "Bulbuli" by Ritu Raj & Nandita. It also cited "notable searches" including AI Photo Edit, Creator Search Insights, Islamic Video, Mr Bean and Full Step Skin Care.
