IDP Bangladesh hosted its Australia pre-departure orientation in Dhaka on June 20, bringing together a strong cohort of students from Dhaka, said a press release.
Students from Chattogram, Sylhet, and all over Bangladesh are in preparation to start their journey to Australia.
The event was inaugurated by Md Razib Mahbubul, country director of IDP Bangladesh, and covered everything students need before they fly — from banking and accommodation to cultural orientation and pre-departure checklists.
In a first-of-its-kind initiative, IDP Bangladesh partnered with Domino’s Pizza to deliver a hands-on pizza making training and certification for departing students — giving them an employment-ready credential to help land part-time jobs in Australia faster.
Travel platform Gozayaan also joined as a partner, offering exclusive flight ticket discounts for IDP’s Australia-bound students.
‘IDP works with students who are serious about transforming their lives through higher education abroad,’ said Mahbubul. ‘Our responsibility doesn’t end at the visa.’
