After almost a week, Tania Brishty has finally returned home following a successful brain tumour surgery. The operation was carried out on Sunday (February 15) this week at a hospital in the capital.

After being kept under observation for 72 hours, doctors discharged her yesterday (Thursday). The matter was confirmed by director Shakal Ahmed.

He told the media that after being released from hospital, the actress is now resting at home.

Earlier, on February 14, the actress shared news of her illness on social media. Posting a photo taken from her hospital bed, she wrote that she was scheduled to undergo head surgery the following day and requested prayers from everyone.

Meanwhile, considering her physical condition, a statement has requested that no one contact her regarding work or shooting matters for the time being.

The decision has been taken as she requires complete rest and ongoing medical care. Her family has said that she will personally get in touch with everyone once she has fully recovered.
