Internationally acclaimed Bangladeshi photographer Muhammad Mostafigur Rahman participated in the prestigious China–South Asia (Dali) International Photo Exhibition 2026, held in Kunming and Dali in China's Yunnan Province.

The nine-day exhibition took place from 9 to 17 June. Eight of his photographs, displayed at the Dianchi International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Kunming, portrayed various aspects of Bangladesh’s natural beauty, culture, lifestyles, and social realities.

This international cultural festival, which began in 2009, has become one of the world's most prestigious photography events over the past fifteen years. The 10th edition featured over 8,000 photographs by 2,260 photographers from 25 countries, including more than 100 foreign and nearly 2,000 Chinese participants.

At the opening ceremony, Muhammad Mostafigur Rahman spoke on behalf of the foreign photographers. He stated that the grand event would strengthen international cultural exchange, artistic practice, and mutual understanding between South Asia and China through the medium of photography. Rahman hopes his inclusion will significantly boost the international recognition of Bangladesh's vibrant art and culture.

Previously, Rahman has displayed his work in numerous solo and group exhibitions in the United States, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Bahrain, and Italy. He has also received a variety of prestigious international awards for his photography.
