The Cabinet Division has released the asset information of all advisers of the interim government, including the chief adviser, in a gazette issued Tuesday.
The disclosures show a decline in the assets of Syeda Rizwana Hasan, adviser to the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, while National Security Adviser Dr. Khalilur Rahman has foreign liabilities.
According to the data, compared with June 30, 2024, Syeda Rizwana Hasan’s total assets fell by nearly Tk1.12 crore by June 30, 2025.
As of June 30, 2024, Rizwana had financial assets of Tk1,94,60,948 and non-financial assets of Tk31,04,107, with no assets held abroad, bringing her total assets to Tk2,25,65,055. By June 30, 2025, her financial assets decreased to Tk81,68,817, while non-financial assets remained unchanged. She reported no foreign assets, leaving her total at Tk1,12,72,924. Her personal and business liabilities also fell, from Tk10,54,752 in 2024 to Tk6,47,887 in 2025.
The data showed that Dr Khalilur Rahman’s financial assets increased slightly, from Tk20,00,000 in 2024 to Tk22,00,000 in 2025. He reported no non-financial assets. His assets abroad remained at approximately Tk22,00,000, unchanged in U.S. dollar terms. His personal and business liabilities decreased slightly, from $1.23 million in 2024 to $1.2 million in 2025.
Additionally, the Cabinet Division noted that the chief adviser’s Special Envoy, Lutfey Siddiqui, did not receive any financial benefits from the government.
