Chelsea's Camara deal falls through
Chelsea's deal to sign Lamine Camara as Enzo Fernandez's replacement is OFF.
"After reaching a full written club-to-club agreement, Monaco have gone back on their word," Sky Sports News' Kaveh Solhekol reports.
"The player had his medical and was going to travel to London tomorrow. But that deal is now off.
"Having renegotiated the Folarin Balogun deal to Everton, Monaco have now reneged on the agreement they had confirmed.
"Chelsea are really unhappy and felt Monaco have acted in a deeply unprofessional way."
Tosin joins Spurs from Chelsea
Tosin Adarabioyo has joined Tottenham from Chelsea on a permanent deal.
Sporting Director Johan Lange told the club website: "Tosin is an excellent addition to our squad, bringing a wealth of experience, leadership and quality to our central defensive options.
"Throughout our conversations with Tosin, it was clear how motivated he is, and how he understands the standards and expectations here.
"We are delighted to have secured his signature and look forward to seeing him make a significant contribution both on and off the pitch."
Deal sheet for Malik Fofana
Sunderland have submitted a deal sheet for Malick Fofana.
A deal sheet gives clubs an extra two hours to complete a deal beyond the deadline.
Man City complete Ndiaye deal
Manchester City have completed the signing of Iliman Ndiaye from Everton for up to £65m.
The 26-year-old has joined on a contract until 2031.
City are paying a fixed fee of £60m plus £5m in add-ons.
Chelsea land Camara
Chelsea have agreed a £47m deal with Monaco for Lamine Camara.
The midfielder is set to sign a six-year deal, pending a medical.
The move comes hours after Chelsea agreed a British-record-equalling £125m deal to sell Enzo Fernandez to Premier League rivals Manchester City.
Camara made 31 appearances for Monaco last season, scoring three goals and recording four assists.
Mudryk joins Spurs on loan
Mykhaylo Mudryk has joined Tottenham on a season-long loan from Chelsea.
Spurs have an option to buy the winger, who has not played a competitive game since November 2024 due to a doping ban that was resolved in July.
Mudryk joined Chelsea for £88.5m in January 2023 amid much fanfare, with the Blues beating Arsenal to his signing.
But the Ukraine international failed to live up to that price tag at Stamford Bridge and will now look to reignite his career in north London.
Spurs boss Roberto De Zerbi coached Mudryk at Shakhtar Donetsk and even tipped him as a future Ballon d'Or winner.
Chelsea trio depart
Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez has completed a season-long loan move to Serie A side Como.
The goalkeeper had been bumped down to Stamford Bridge following the arrival of Emi Martinez from Aston Villa.
Elsewhere, midfielder Dario Essugo has completed a season-long loan move to sister club Strasbourg. Essugo was of interest to Hull in this window.
Striker Deivid Washington has completed a permanent transfer to Strasbourg.
He signed from Santos for £17.1m three years ago but made only three appearances.
Forward Dujuan Richards has also joined Wimbledon on a season-long loan.
Atletico sign striker David on loan from Juventus
Atletico Madrid sealed the signing of striker Jonathan David on loan from Juventus on Tuesday.
"David stands out for his mobility, his ability to link up with his teammates, and his versatility in attack," said Atletico in a statement announcing the deal.
The 26-year-old Canada international joins Atletico after a difficult first season in Serie A, scoring just eight goals after moving to Juventus from Lille in 2025.
David enjoyed five prolific seasons in France, scoring 109 goals in 232 appearances for Lille before making the move to Italy.
He will compete for a place alongside Argentina striker Julian Alvarez, who Atletico held on to despite strong interest from Barcelona.
According to Spanish media, Atletico have an option to buy David worth around 25 million euros ($29 million).
The arrival of another striker was reportedly a request from coach Diego Simeone, regardless of what happened with Alvarez.
Atletico's firm refusal to sell Alvarez to Barca has left the Argentina international poised to remain at the club.
David joins Morten Hjulmand, Lee Kang-in, Cristian Romero and Alejandro Grimaldo in signing for Atletico this summer.
Arsenal's Nwaneri joins Dortmund on loan on deadline day
Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday announced the deadline-day signing of Arsenal attacker Ethan Nwaneri on a season-long loan.
The 19-year-old, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Ligue 1 side Marseille, comes in as cover for the injured Giannis Konstantelias.
According to German media, there is no option to buy included in the deal.
Calling Nwaneri "the best possible sporting solution" after Konstantelias's injury, Dortmund sporting director Lars Ricken praised the English teenager in a statement.
Konstantelias arrived in Dortmund in August and impressed on his Bundesliga debut on Saturday but picked up a serious knee injury minutes after scoring.
"With Ethan's loan, we have succeeded in securing a very talented and technically gifted midfielder," Ricken said. "We are delighted that we were able to finalise this deal just before the transfer window closed."
Nwaneri has scored 10 goals and laid on two assists in 51 matches for the Gunners, along with scoring twice in 11 games for Marseille last campaign.
Chelsea pursuing Camara and Kone as Fernandez exits
With Enzo Fernandez joining Manchester City in a joint-British-record deal, Chelsea are now working to bring in a replacement for the Argentina international.
Chelsea have been pursuing Roma's Manu Kone and Monaco's Lamine Camara,as well as exploring potential Premier League midfielders.
The transfer window shuts at 11pm but clubs can submit deal sheets to give themselves an extra two hours to complete deals beyond the deadline.
Liverpool sign young Genk goalkeeper for up to £30m
Liverpool have signed 18-year-old goalkeeper Lucca Brughmans from Genk.
The Premier League club are initially paying a nominal fee, but the deal could reach £30m with bonuses.
The teenager has signed a six-year deal but is being loaned straight back to Genk for the season.

Jesus joins Barcelona from Arsenal for reported £8.5m
Barcelona have completed the signing of Gabriel Jesus from Arsenal, with the Catalan giants reportedly paying around £8.5 million for the Brazilian striker.

Jesus arrives to bolster an attack weakened by the departures of Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres earlier this summer.
Barcelona had been prepared to end the transfer window without signing another recognised number nine, with winger Raphinha scoring five goals in three games while operating through the middle. However, they ultimately opted to bring in Jesus.

Two-time European champions Paris Saint-Germain have sold Ibrahim Mbaye to Aston Villa in a deal reportedly worth around £47 million.
The Senegal forward joins Villa on a permanent transfer, with both clubs confirming the move.
The 18-year-old, a product of the PSG youth academy, already has 15 caps for Senegal and became the youngest African player to score at the World Cup this summer in a 3-1 defeat against France.
Two years ago, he also became PSG's youngest player to make his Ligue 1 debut, aged 16 years, six months and 23 days.
Mbaye won eight trophies with PSG, including two Champions League titles, two European Super Cups and two French league titles.

Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez has arrived in Italy ahead of his proposed loan move to Como.
The Spaniard is set to undergo a medical before signing for the Italian club, managed by former Arsenal and Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas.
Sanchez lost his place in the Chelsea side following the signing of Emiliano Martinez from Aston Villa. He would have been reduced to a third or fourth-choice role had he remained at Stamford Bridge.

Former Aston Villa and France winger Moussa Diaby has rejoined Bayer Leverkusen from Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad on a deal running until 2031.
German media reported that Leverkusen paid around £23 million to bring the 27-year-old back to the BayArena.

Manchester City's proposed Gakpo move set to collapse
Manchester City's proposed move for Liverpool winger Cody Gakpo is reportedly close to collapsing.
British media reported on Monday that Gakpo, who had also attracted interest from Tottenham Hotspur, was open to joining City after Liverpool had been heavily linked with PSG's Bradley Barcola and completed his signing later in the day.
However, Liverpool reportedly want to bring in another player if Gakpo leaves, and the Reds now appear likely to retain the Netherlands international unless a fresh agreement can be reached before the deadline.

Manchester United remain in talks with Leicester City over the signing of 18-year-old midfielder Louis Page, according to Sky Sports News.
As things stand, United will reportedly need to offer more than £8 million to meet Leicester's valuation.
Leicester are understood to be mindful of Page's age and their duty of care towards the teenager.
United are keen to complete the deal before the deadline, but time is becoming an issue, with significant work still required before a full agreement can be reached.
