Grameenphone has opened registration for the second edition of FutureMakers, an AI-based competition for university students from all academic backgrounds.
The theme is 'AI for Social Good', with six challenge areas: digital inclusion and education; healthcare and mental wellbeing; upskilling and employment; gender equality and inclusion; environmental harmony and climate response; and safety, security, and data privacy.
Students can register online with a valid university ID by September 30, 2026, either individually or in teams of up to three. Selected ideas will advance through a concept pitch and a mentor-led development phase before the final Gala. Winners will receive prize money and an accelerated pathway to Grameenphone's flagship programmes, according to a press release.
