TikTok removed more than 15 million videos in Bangladesh during the final quarter of 2025, according to its latest Community Guidelines Enforcement Report.

The report, covering the period from October to December 2025, states that 15,392,129 videos were taken down in Bangladesh for violating the platform’s rules. The vast majority of these removals were carried out proactively, before users had the chance to report them. Of those flagged by automated systems, 98.4 percent were removed within 24 hours of being posted, as per a press release.

Globally, TikTok removed 175,302,085 videos during the same period, representing roughly 0.5 percent of all content uploaded to the platform. Of these, more than 152 million were identified through automated detection technologies. However, 8,360,780 videos were later reinstated following further review, suggesting ongoing challenges in balancing speed with accuracy.

According to a press release, TikTok removed over 147 million fake accounts during the quarter, alongside nearly 24 million accounts suspected of belonging to users under the age of 13. In terms of content categories, the report indicates that 21.2 percent of removed videos contained sensitive or mature themes that did not comply with platform policies. A further 9.1 percent violated rules related to safety and civility, while smaller proportions were linked to privacy breaches (1.2%), misinformation (1.6%), and manipulated or AI-generated media (1.8%).
