The American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) will observe the 9th death anniversary of its founder and former chairperson Hasna Abedin on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.

The university will hold special prayers, recitation of the Holy Quran and a milad mahfil in her honour, says a press release.

AIUB will pay tribute to her contributions to higher education.

The university requested students, faculty members, relatives and well-wishers to pray for the eternal peace and forgiveness of her soul.
