Hotel Sarina Dhaka has announced a special Baishakhi Bhoj, offering guests an opportunity to experience authentic Bangladeshi cuisine in a festive setting to celebrate Pahela Baishakh, celebrated on 14 April, said a press release.
The event will feature a wide selection of more than 100 traditional dishes, including well-known favourites such as Panta Ilish and Bhuna Khichuri.
Guests can also expect a variety of bhortas, curries, lentils, pickles, and desserts, reflecting the diversity of local culinary traditions.
The hotel has arranged a culturally immersive atmosphere with traditional décor and colourful floral arrangements to reflect the spirit of the New Year celebration.
The buffet will be available on April 14 at Summerfields, located on Level 2 of the hotel.
Two dining options will be offered. The lunch buffet will be available from 12:30pm to 3:30pm at a price of Tk 2000 net per person, while the dinner buffet will be served from 6:30pm to 10:30pm at Tk 2500 net per person.
According to the hotel, the response from guests has been strong, with significant interest already generated. Reservations have opened, and guests are encouraged to book in advance.
With this initiative, Hotel Sarina Dhaka aims to celebrate local traditions while providing a memorable dining experience for families, friends, and corporate groups on the occasion of the New Year.
