BNP says aircraft from Qatar now expected on Saturday

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's journey to London has been delayed due to the non-arrival of the special air ambulance provided by the Emir of Qatar.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, quoting BNP Media Cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan, said at 10:20am today, "If Madam's health is deemed suitable for travel by the medical board and all conditions are met, Inshallah, she will depart on Sunday, the 7th."

Fakhrul confirmed that the air ambulance, originally scheduled to arrive today, was delayed due to a technical issue.

He added that the aircraft is now expected to arrive on Saturday, pending completion of necessary arrangements.
