Nvidia chief executive Jensen Huang has said the company could deliver 70% year-on-year revenue growth, citing demand for AI infrastructure and visibility over its customers’ expansion plans.

Speaking at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia and Technology Conference on September 10, Huang said Nvidia’s relationships with suppliers and data centre developers helped it assess the capacity available to support further growth.

TechCrunch reported that analysts expect about $400bn in revenue this financial year; 70% growth would imply roughly $680bn the following year.

Huang said Nvidia tracked the land, power, and building requirements of data centre projects worldwide and worked closely with suppliers to expand manufacturing capacity. He presented that visibility as a basis for confidence in the company’s outlook.

Nvidia’s expansion, he said, extends beyond individual chips to complete computing systems, networking, and software designed to run AI services.

Huang also defended investments in companies that buy Nvidia equipment, arguing that such arrangements create distribution channels for its technology. The deals have drawn questions about whether Nvidia’s own financing is helping to sustain demand for its products.

He said customer contracts were central to assessing those investments, rather than relying solely on expectations of future business. The 70% figure represents a growth forecast, not a completed financial result.
