Police have arrested the owner of Kolkata’s Shikha Inn hotel over a fire that killed nine people, including seven Bangladeshis.

He was arrested from his home in Kolkata’s Behala area on Saturday, Anandabazar Patrika reported.

The owner had been on the run since the fire broke out at the hotel near New Market, police say.
