Rangs Limited, the distributor of Mitsubishi Motors in Bangladesh, has launched the Mitsubishi Destinator at the Dhaka Motor Show 2026 on April 24.
The Mitsubishi Destinator is positioned as a premium family-oriented vehicle, combining a seven-seat configuration. The model is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged MIVEC engine producing 163 PS and 250 Nm of torque, paired with a continuously variable transmission. Its 1,499cc engine capacity places it within a relatively favourable tax bracket under Bangladesh’s vehicle taxation structure, according to the distributor.
Speaking at the launch event, Muidur Rahman Tanvir, CEO of Rangs Limited, said, “With its efficient 1.5-litre engine and competitive tax advantage, we believe this SUV will make premium ownership more accessible for customers.”
The interior includes a two-tone cabin with synthetic leather seating and a panoramic sunroof. The vehicle is equipped with a 12.3-inch infotainment display supporting wireless smartphone connectivity, alongside an 8-inch digital instrument cluster and an eight-speaker audio system tuned in collaboration with Yamaha.
Safety and driver assistance features include six airbags, Active Yaw Control (AYC) and Forward Collision Mitigation systems. Additional features include rear passenger air conditioning vents, an air purification system, LED lighting elements, and 18-inch alloy wheels, according to Rangs Limited.
