Actress Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja have welcomed their second child, a baby boy, on March 29.

The couple shared the news through a joint statement released by their team. They expressed joy and gratitude for the new addition to their family.

“With immense gratitude and hearts full of love, we are delighted to announce the arrival of our baby boy,” the statement said. “Our family has grown, and our hearts have expanded in the most beautiful way.”
 

 
The couple also shared that their first son, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja, is overjoyed to welcome his younger brother. They described the newborn as a blessing who has brought happiness and grace to their home.

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja were married in May 2018 in Mumbai. Their first child, Vayu, was born in August 2022.

On the film front, Sonam was last seen in the film “Blind”, where she played a visually impaired character. The film marked her return to acting after her first maternity break. Before that, she appeared in “AK vs AK” and “The Zoya Factor”.

The actress has not announced her next project yet. In recent interviews, she said she is choosing roles carefully while focusing on her family life.
