The prosecution today submitted formal charges to the International Crimes Tribunal-1 against former Narayanganj-4 lawmaker Shamim Osman, his son Ayan Osman, and 10 others in connection with the killings in Narayanganj during the July 2024 mass uprising.

ICT Prosecutor Gazi Monawar Hossain Tamim shared the information with journalists in a WhatsApp group this morning.

“The prosecution has submitted formal charges against 12 accused. A hearing on the matter will be held today,” he said.
