Four more suspected deaths from measles were reported in the past 24 hours till 8:00am today, bringing the total number of suspected deaths to 235.

All the latest deaths were reported in Dhaka division, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

No new confirmed deaths were recorded in the last 48 hours, leaving the total number of confirmed fatalities unchanged at 49.

During the same period, 72 new confirmed cases were reported, raising the total number of confirmed cases to 5,218.

Besides, DGHS recorded 1,024 new suspected cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the number of suspected cases to 39,325.
