Beyoncé has entered the billionaire ranks, becoming the fifth musician to achieve the milestone, according to Forbes.
The singer now joins her husband Jay-Z, alongside Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen and Rihanna, in the exclusive club.
Beyoncé's recent financial gains have been driven largely by touring and strategic control over her work. Her Renaissance World Tour in 2023 grossed close to $600 million. In 2024, she released the country album "Cowboy Carter", which later anchored one of the highest-grossing concert tours of 2025.
She founded her entertainment company Parkwood Entertainment in 2008. Forbes noted that Parkwood manages her career and produces her music, documentaries and concerts, while covering much of the production cost to retain greater back-end earnings.
According to the publication, the Cowboy Carter Tour generated more than $400 million in ticket sales, based on figures from Pollstar, along with an estimated $50 million in merchandise revenue. As Parkwood handled production, Beyoncé benefited from higher profit margins. Combining tour income with earnings from her music catalogue and sponsorship deals, Forbes estimates she earned $148 million in 2025 before taxes, making her the world's third-highest paid musician that year.
Forbes also cited additional income streams, including an estimated $60 million deal with Netflix for the 2019 documentary "Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé". She reportedly earned another $50 million for her halftime performance during Netflix's first Christmas Day NFL game in 2024. A year earlier, she released a concert film from the Renaissance World Tour directly through AMC, securing nearly half of the film's $44 million global box office earnings.
