The Ministry of Religious Affairs has published the roadmap for the 2027 Hajj pilgrimage.

It was published by the ministry’s Hajj-1 branch on Sunday.

A media statement from the ministry said that on May 29, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced the schedule of Hajj activities for 2027 through a simple ceremony in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and handed it over to the ministers of religious affairs of countries.

Minister of Religious Affairs Kazi Shah Mofazzal Houssain attended the ceremony as an invited guest and Assistant Minister of the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Al Hassan bin Yahya Al Manakhrah officially handed over the Hajj roadmap to him.

According to it, the Hajj registration process must be completed by Sept 26 of this year and the bilateral Hajj agreement will be signed on Nov 8.

Hajj visas will be issued from Jan 28, 2027 and Hajj flights will start on Apr 8 of that year. The Hajj will be held around May 15 (9 Zilhajj), subject to the sighting of the moon.

According to the roadmap, the direct transfer of expenses on the Saudi side to the e-wallet of the Nusuk Masar platform from Jul 15 to Dec 24 this year.

The ministry says the signing of the agreement for receiving the overall service package (tent, service package, hotels in Makkah and Madinah, catering and transportation services) through Nusuk Masar will begin on Jul 29, 2026 and end on Jan 23, 2027.

Hajj pilgrims’ data will have to be uploaded to the Nusuk Masar system between Aug 14, 2026 and Jan 28, 2027.

The signing of contracts with airlines transporting the Hajj pilgrims and the completion of the documentation in the Nusuk Masar platform must be finished between Jul 29 and Nov 8 of this year.

The ministry has requested that the Hajj activities be completed according to the announced roadmap.
