JICA Bangladesh has announced the winners of its national-level photography contest, My Bangladesh My Development, on Sunday, and has unveiled a curated online exhibition showcasing 21 photographs that give an insight into Bangladesh’s development history through the eyes of its citizens.
The online exhibition provides a platform where visitors can explore different perspectives on development through pictures, said a press release on Monday.
These curated photographs will help people learn about the small and large changes that are shaping today’s Bangladesh.
The contest invited photography enthusiasts and citizens from all walks of life to capture and showcase Bangladesh’s development journey through their own lens.
From urban innovation to rural transformation, the photographs signify the strength and spirit of the Bangladeshi citizens.
Each photo has been critically examined by JICA, focusing strongly on scenes that celebrate the growth and development of the nation
On the same day, a ceremony was conducted at JICA Bangladesh’s office to honour four outstanding works, celebrating and awarding the photographers who captured such moving pictures.
Offering an engaging visual journey of progress and promise across Bangladesh, the MyBangladeshMyDevelopment online exhibition is now live for public viewing.
