At least two dengue patients died and 790 others were hospitalised in the 24 hours until 8:00am today.

Of the two deaths, one was reported from Dhaka North City Corporation and the other from Chattogram division, said Directorate General of Health Services.

With the latest deaths and cases, the dengue death toll has risen to 141, while the total number of cases stands at 49,220.

Currently, 3,434 dengue patients are undergoing treatment at hospitals across the country.
