Meta has quietly launched a new application called Pocket, an AI-powered platform that allows users to create and share small interactive apps and games using text prompts.

The app, which is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play, follows Meta's acquisition earlier this year of the team behind Gizmo, a platform that enabled users to build interactive experiences through generative AI. 

On Google Play, Pocket describes itself as "a creative platform for making and sharing gizmos. A gizmo is a small interactive thing you can tap and play with… and you can make a gizmo just by describing it.”

Pocket also includes a feed that allows users to browse and interact with creations shared by others. Screenshots published on Google Play suggest the app retains many of the features found in the original Gizmo platform, including AI prompt-based creation tools and a discovery feed.
