President Mohammed Shahabuddin today did not deny or refute reports of his possible resignation, terming the question "embarrassing."

In a WhatsApp interview with The Daily Star today at 6:10pm, the president, when asked directly if he planned to step down, said, “You will see. [It's an] embarrassing question.”
