At least six dengue patients died, and 1,492 others were hospitalised in 24 hours till 8:00am today.

Among the deaths, two were reported in Khulna division, and one each in Barishal, Dhaka, Chattogram and Rajshahi divisions.

With the new deaths and cases, the total number of deaths rose to 139 and cases to 48,430.

Currently, 3,434 dengue patients are undergoing treatment at different hospitals across the country.
