A new Dhanmondi-based art gallery, ‘Gallery Hamiduzzaman’, organised a group art exhibition titled Embodiment of Nature, featuring 110 young and seasoned painters promoting environmental awareness through landscapes.

A 20-day exhibition curated by Dipro Bonik, which was inaugurated on January 30, displayed artworks in three phases.

The second phase is under way at the venue featuring mostly young artists including Shoyeb Mahmood, Afroza nazmin Lily, Eliza Rahman, Md Liakot Hossain Lipon, Tasfia habib Arna, Koushik Saha, Sowmitro Mostobi, Arin Saha and Swastee Biswas.

Their artworks are mostly paintings created with diverse media – including acrylic, pastel, charcoal, oil and pen – on canvas, paper and as prints.

Their paintings depict the scenic beauty of Bangladesh, daily life, village farms and more at the exhibition.

The third phase of the exhibition will start on February 14, featuring artists including Ivy Zaman, Kaoser Hassan Togor, Rubina Nargis, Lubna Habib and Dipro Bonik.

The exhibition will end on February 20.
