Central leaders of the Communist Party of Bangladesh at a rally in Dhaka on Friday said that they would continue movements for establishing a discrimination-free Bangladesh and for the restoration of democracy and democratic rule in the country.

The party held the rally in front of the central office in the Purana Paltan crossing, marking its 78th founding anniversary.


Presiding over the rally, CPB president Sazzad Zahir Chandan said that the party would continue its straggle for establishing the rights of the common people and restoration of their voting rights and the democratic rule in the country.

The party general secretary Abdullah Al Kafee Ratan said that CPB would continue its movements for establishing a discrimination-free democratic Bangladesh.

Former president of the party Mohammad Shah Alam, former general secretary Ruhin Hossain Prince and central leader Lucky Akter, among others, spoke at the rally.

Artistes of Udichi Shilpi Goshthi rendered patriotic songs in the rally.

The rally was followed by a red flag procession that paraded different city roads.
