Two people were killed and two others injured after a battery-run autorickshaw was crushed between two buses on the Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway in Gazipur’s Bhogra Bypass area today.
The accident occurred around 1:00pm near the Bhogra Bypass flyover, causing temporary disruption to traffic on the highway.
According to eyewitnesses, an Anabil Paribahan bus suddenly stopped to pick up passengers. An autorickshaw behind it also stopped, but a Binimoy Paribahan bus hit the autorickshaw from behind, pushing it into the first bus and crushing it between the two buses.
