The Terracotta Creatives paid tribute to the working class people by organising an outdoor exhibition at Dhanmondi Lake in Bangladesh capital Dhaka on Friday to mark International Workers' Day.
The 17th edition of the exhibition, curated by Mrittika Kamal and Arshad Rony, featured 92 works created by 61 contemporary artists.
Photography, painting, and digital art depicted working-class individuals, while the exhibition also welcomed the broader community of visitors to Dhanmondi Lake.
Artists including Hasan Saifuddin Chandan, GMB Akash, Hafizur Rahman Khan, Mamunur Rashid, Md Enamul Kabir, Md. Main Uddin, Md. Saiful Amin Kazal, Pablo Khaled, Sabina Yesmin, Shafiqul Alam Kiron, Syed Latif Hossain, AFM Moniruzzaman Shipu, Mohammd Asadurjaman Aslam Molla, Amitab Sarker, Tajlin Akhter, Saleha Khatun, Topu Das, and Md Nazmul Hossain displayed their artworks at the exhibition.
By organising outdoor exhibitions, Terracotta works to take art beyond gallery walls and into public spaces to create a connection with the masses.
