"The University of Chankharpul" has secured a new evening screening slot at Star Cineplex following strong audience demand after its theatrical release on June 12.
Responding to positive audience turnout and growing interest in the film, Star Cineplex has revised its schedule, replacing the previous 4:30 pm show with a 7:15 pm screening aimed at after-office viewers. The political satire will now be shown daily at 11:15 am and 7:15 pm at the Bashundhara City branch.

Directed by Akash Haque, the film has drawn attention for its portrayal of university life, student politics, residential hall culture and contemporary social realities. Despite adverse weather on its opening day, screenings at Star Cineplex and Lion Cinemas in Keraniganj reportedly attracted encouraging audiences, particularly university students.
According to the filmmakers, audience feedback following the initial screenings played a key role in the decision to introduce the more accessible evening show.
"The love and appreciation we have received from audiences since the release have been truly inspiring," said director Akash Haque. "The enthusiastic participation of young viewers, in particular, gives us great hope and encouragement."
