The government has formed a seven-member cabinet committee, led by the finance minister, to review the salary structure of the employees of the judiciary.

The Cabinet Division issued a notification in this regard on Thursday.

Formed to review the report of the "Bangladesh Judicial Service Pay Commission, 2025" and formulate necessary recommendations, the committee includes the ministers of home affairs; power, energy and mineral resources; women and children affairs; social welfare; and law, justice and parliamentary affairs.

The adviser to the ministries of finance and planning; and the state minister for public administration and food are also members of the committee.

According to the terms of reference, the committee will review the recommendations of the "Bangladesh Judicial Service Pay Commission, 2025" and formulate necessary recommendations.

It can co-opt new members if necessary, and the Finance Division will provide overall secretarial assistance.
