Dania Studio Theatre organised a day-long theatre festival titled ‘Sarabela Nattautshab’ at its studio theatre hall in Dhaka’s Jatrabari area on Saturday.
The festival featured four theatre productions: Prachyanat’s Guardians of the Gods, Nattya Pala’s Bagh, Anuswar’s Buddhijibir Bashay Shoytan, and Shunyan Repertory Theatre’s Godhulibelay. The event was inaugurated by local theatre activists.
An open discussion between the audience and theatre group members was held after each show at the venue.
Md Shahnewaz, Director of the Studio, said that the festival ran from morning until evening. He noted that audiences discussed the productions and local theatre artists participated in the discussions.
Dania Studio Theatre began its journey with an international monodrama theatre festival in February 2019.
