The voter turnout in the 13th Bangladesh national election and the referendum was 59.44 per cent, according to the Election Commission.

The 13th JS elections and the referendum were held on Thursday.

The EC completed the announcement of the results on Friday morning.

Later, at around 11:30am, the EC’s media director, Ruhul Amin Mallik, told journalists, ‘The percentage of votes cast is 59.44.’
