Meanwhile, on the day of the release, the "Borbaad" team issued a statement urging audiences to watch the film on the big screen and refrain from piracy, emphasising the importance of respecting art and artistes. "The film has been created through the hard work and creativity of countless crew members. A single moment of piracy could 'ruin' the entire team's efforts. Piracy or unauthorised sharing of clips is not only illegal but also a sign of disregard for the industry," they stated.
The team further appealed, "Let us be responsible viewers – experience the true essence of "Borbaad" on the big screen and respect cinema. Avoid recording or engaging in piracy of any kind."
The "Borbaad" team also mentioned that they had already detected multiple pirated clips, which posed a serious threat to their film. Consequently, they felt compelled to pursue legal action. They warned that any pirated links or videos brought to their attention would lead to legal action against those involved, ensuring appropriate punishment.
